FA2-5-Chart-Image-72dpi[2]Pro-Visual Publishing, in collaboration with the Facility Management Association of Australia, has released their latest edition of the Facilities Managers Guide to Workplace Safety. This year’s guide aims to educate and inform facility managers, facility management companies, shopping centre managers, entertainment & convention centre managers, universities, aged care facilities, hospitals, airports and stadiums about essential workplace health and safety issues.

The 2015/16 edition of the Facilities Managers Guide to Workplace Safety outlines who is recognised as a Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) under the Work Heath and Safety Act and their responsibility as a PCBU. This year’s guide also explores confined spaces and the risks associated with work carried out in confined spaces. Another prominent topic includes managing the risk of falls and provides essential information on how to identify a fall hazard and how to minimise the risk of falls by implementing control measures or a fall arrest system.

“I would like to thank all of the sponsors of the Facilities Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2015/16. Their support has made it possible for the Guide to be distributed free of charge” – John Hutchings, CEO, Pro-Visual Publishing.
