SPoR Survey Diagnostics

imageSPoR have been conducting diagnostic work for more than 20 years and has comprehensive data regarding culture and risk in organisations.

The methodology for this diagnostic work is founded in the unique methodology of SPoR (https://safetyrisk.net/understanding-the-social-psychology-of-risk-and-safety/) and seeks data that is not sought by engineering and behaviourist methodologies (https://safetyrisk.net/safety-surveying-what-you-already-know/ ).

I have also conducted extensive research comparing SPOR methodology to common survey methods on the safety market. This paper can be provided on request.

The MiProfile Survey was developed 20 years ago and has been conducted all over the world across all industries. MiProfile has a database exceeding 60,000 respondents and all survey data can be easily benchmarked.

You can see an overview of MiProfile here: https://www.humandymensions.com/services-and-programs/miprofile/

You can see a video on MiProfile here: https://vimeo.com/24764673

You can also download example reports from the website. The examples also explain SPoR methodology with survey examples.

SPoR also offers the HSE iCue Audit and this enables people in risk and safety to assess their maturity in understanding risk comprehensively in psychical, psychological and cultural dimensions.

The HSE iCue Audit is structured in an open format with questions across 20 HSE domains. The questionnaire takes 60 minutes to complete and the same amount of time to mark. The candidate is then given a score out of 100% as a measure of HSE iCue competence.

This work can also be benchmarked against average scores across the safety industry. Unfortunately, the HSE iCue Audit is labour intensive and expensive.

There is also the Zero Survey that has been running continuously for more than 5 years and has over 3500 respondents: https://safetyrisk.net/take-the-zero-survey/

This survey takes 2 minutes to complete at no cost and results are published regularly regarding attitudes of the industry to the ideology of zero (https://safetyrisk.net/first-report-on-zero-survey/ ).

The MiProfile survey can be conducted insitu and online.
