Quality Care for Aged Care
National Guide for Aged Care 2017 – Released
Ensuring the best possible care is given to those in the Aged Care Industry is a top priority. Pro-Visual Publishing, along with Leading Age Services Australia and Alzheimer’s Australia, has released their 2017 edition of the National Guide for Aged Care, which provides essential information and resources on delivering the best possible aged care service across residential facilities (learn more about Palliative Care Sydney), nursing homes and training institutes across Australia.
Due to the success of Augmented Reality (AR) on the previous edition, the 2017 edition includes additional resources for aged care workers to access using the free Pro-Vis AR app. These resources include downloadable PDFs, meal plans and instructional videos for safe working practices.
The 2017 edition of the Guide covers the following essential areas:
· Antimicrobial Stewardship.
· Patient Handling and Transfer.
· Communicating and Supporting People With Dementia.
· Communication Around Dying.
· Sedative Use.
“I would like to thank all of the sponsors of the National Guide for Aged Care 2017. Their support has made it possible for the guide to be distributed free of charge”, said John Hutchings, CEO, Pro-Visual Publishing.
