Update Changes to SPoR Convention 14-16 September 2026

The SPoR Convention is proceeding but due to rising costs of fuel and associated expenses, we have decided to conduct the program for just 2 days, with an option for a third day Semiotic Walk (including the Mint (where you can make your own coin), New War Memorial Atrium and winery).

All details are here: https://spor.com.au/spor-convention-2026/

Dr Craig Ashhurst and Dr Long will be conducting the program with opportunities for participant vignettes. The structure of the program has been built on all that was gleaned from the current online workshops. The first evening is a group dinner.

The theme for the conference remains on following-leading in Risk and is anchored to the new (90 pages) Supplement’ to the book Following-Leading in Risk that was first published in 2014.

The new edition is a complete reworking of the old book with all new chapters, updates and a collection of new tools and models. The book is due for release in August 2026.

If you haven’t read the first book, you can download it for free here: https://www.humandymensions.com/product/following-leading-risk/

The book will serve as a framework for the conference.

You can see the program and register online here: https://spor.com.au/spor-convention-2026/ or contact admin@spor.com.au to be invoiced directly or for more information. The fee for the two-day event is $800.
