Laboratory Guide to Workplace Safety 2016/17 – Released
Ensuring your laboratory is sterilised and infection free will create a safe workplace for laboratory workers. For this reason, Pro-Visual Publishing, with the support of the National Safety Council of Australia Foundation, launches the 2016/17 edition of the Laboratory Guide to Workplace Safety with sterilisation and infection control as one of the main focuses. Incorporated into the 2016/17 edition is Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities, which transforms the guide into an interactive space, allowing better absorption of the safety message.
This year’s interactive Guide includes the following features:
· Sterilisation procedures in laboratories
· Personal Protective Equipment
· Chemical classification and labelling
The AR aspect of the Guide enhances the user’s experience using the free Pro-Vis AR app, making content and information much more engaging. By scanning over AR enabled content, users can fully immerse themselves into a 360° panorama of a laboratory, interact with a 3D model demonstrating different personal protective wear and download essential resources straight to their smart device.
